Our Purpose

Football is more than the game we love — it is a place where brotherhood is forged, character is developed, and lifelong lessons are learned. The Man in the Glass Initiative was created to support Central Virginia’s players in meaningful ways that extend beyond the Xs and Os. Our focus is on helping young athletes grow as teammates, leaders, and young men.

What We Do

We partner with veteran players, coaches, community leaders, and families to make sure the best parts of the game endure long after the final whistle. Through mentorship, football development opportunities, and a commitment to personal accountability, we aim to instill habits and values that shape success both on and off the field.

The lessons learned in football — resilience, effort, integrity, brotherhood — are foundations for a lifetime. By reinforcing these qualities, we help area players build confidence, strengthen relationships, and take ownership of who they are becoming.
